Arune Tornau (b. 1956), painter and art teacher. Studied in Vilnius Art Academy (1974 -1979). Member of Lithuanian Artist Association (LAA). Head of painters section of LAA (2009 - 2016). Participated in joint and personal exhibitions, worked on art education projects in Lithuania and abroad. She is the author or co-author of several textbooks, some papers and videofilms, TV and radio shows about art and art education. In 2010-2016 curated some important exhibitions of Lithuanian painters in Lithuania and abroad.
